I was asking him about his wife. She is very sick. She just had brain surgery to try to decrease her epileptic seizures. He told me she was getting better but that she had beenreadmitted once to the hospital. But in spite of all that she still wanted to visit the mosque this Ramadan. He said he would try to bring her when it was quiet. So we spoke for a minute about how she probably shouldn't fast due to her condition and I told him I also struggle with fasting due to health reasons.
He said let me tell you a story. He told me he has a Muslim friend who is like a grandmother to him. And he went to her and told her how much his wife wants to go to Hajj. That she speaks of it constantly and always asks him to take her. So the woman replied,"That's great. When are you going? "So he told her I can't afford it and my wife is very sick. She replied," She already went because she went in her heart. "
He said to me. You intend to fast. You intend to do Taraaweeh. He said it's like you have already done it. I said thank you brother.. make dua for me.
