CAN A MALE WEAR A RING ON HIS FINGER?

Question:

Are males allowed to wear platinum rings?

Answer:

No. Men are only allowed to wear rings of silver. The weight of the silver should not exceed one Mithqaal as mentioned in the Hadith. One Mithqaal is equivalent to approximately 4.374 grams.
