Musafir (Traveler)
Question and Answer:
Q. Please could you advise me. I stay in lenasia and have come to my mother in laws house in robertsham which is 25 km from my home. I made intention to leave to durban when I left lenasia. I spent the night at my mother in laws house and we left for durban. I have been reading musafir namaaz. My problem is now that we are back in robertsham and I am staying here for a few days before going back to my home in lenasia, do I continue to read musafir namaaz? Please could you advise me on the fatwa ruling.

A. You are still a Musafir in Robertsham since you have not returned to your hometown in Lenasia as yet. Therefore, you will pray Qasr (reduce the Fardh of four Rakaats to two) during your stay in Robertsham.
