The greater the pain, the deeper the detachment from the dunya. For all those who have suffered a loss, grief, pain and hurt, fear not, for in the depth of suffering lies an ingrained mercy. The more our hearts are broken, the more our bodies are tormented, the more tears our eyes weep, layer by layer we are stripped of our desire for the dunya. And thus, we begin to yearn for a freedom from this suffocation that can only be found in striving for aakhirah. Hand over that broken heart to Al-Jabbar, who will heal all your wounds. Cry those tears in the Courtyard of Ar-Raheem, and strive on your path, from the ephemeral to the Eternal, with a beautiful patience, and hope for your reward from As-Shakoor. Find hope in prayer and preserverance. Oh Slave of Allah, remember His Mercy prevails over his Wrath, and these tears are never wasted in His Courtyard. These worldly days are nothing but a blink of an eye between two eternities, so make your companion your Lord. Strive quietly, and bear silently with patience, the adversity that meets you. Allah knows of every wound, or every scar, every pain, every tear. Allah knows. Allah is with those who are patient. Not mum, not dad, nor the wife or the husband, not the best friend or the pious scholar, nor the wali of Allah, but Allah swt azza Jall, Himself. Be patient. He will bless you with strength, with hope, with love, with his nearness, with a longing to meet Him...... ....to escape from the dunya and its shackles, and to flee to Allah. The end is nigh. The help of your Lord is near. And fear not, for the reward of those who are patient, is bighayri hisaab.... By: Bint e Muhammad
