What is Happening in Pakistan?

As Salaam Ulaikum Wr Wb

A lot of people these days seem to ask me - Brother What is happening in Pakistan? Why is it that Pakistan is in the news all the time? Floods, Earth Quake, Bomb Blasts, etc everything seems to be striking one after another.

My simple answer is:

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]. (Surah Al Rum - 41)

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment, (Surah Al Mai`dah - 33)

The above reminds us how corrupt we have become and how disobeying we are to Allah. Do we have Shariah? Haraam is every where and its appreciated - Banks - Ribba - Lies - Supporting Democracy - Back biting - Not Paying Zakat - No Manners - Masjids are empty - Listening to Music - Watching Movies - Ignoring Islamic Law & teachings - Drinking etc etc. Tell me what have we done to please Allah ? Tell me which Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) have we followed as a community? Majority doesn't even read the Quran and its just kept at high place and forgotten ? 

Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) said, "The Prophet ( S.A.W ) said: 'If my Ummah bears fifteen traits, tribulation will befall it.' Someone asked, 'What are they, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'When any gain is shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor; when a trust becomes a means of making a profit; when paying Zakat becomes a burden; when a man obeys his wife and disobeys his mother; and treats his friend kindly whilst shunning his father; when voices are raised in the mosques; when the leader of a people is the worst of them; when people treat a man with respect because they fear some evil he may do; when much wine is drunk; when men wear silk; when female singers and musical instruments become popular; when the last ones of this Ummah curse the first ones - then let them expect a red wind, or the earth to swallow them, or to be transformed into animals.' " [At-Tirmidhi]

We all know how to true the above Hadith is and that is exactly what the majority of the muslims are doing.

As far as the innocent which have lost life's:

Harith b Abi Rabi'a and 'Abdullah b. Safwan both went to Umm Salama, the Mother of the Faithful, and they asked her about the army which would be sunk in the earth, and this relates to the time when Ibn Zubair (was the governor of Mecca). She reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had said that a seeker of refuge would seek refuge in the Sacred House and an army would be sent to him (in order to kill him) and when it would enter a plain ground, it would be made to sink. I said: Allah's Messenger, what about him who would be made to accompany this army willy nilly? Thereupon he said: He would be made to sink along with them buf he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection on the basis of his intention. Abu Ja'far said. ' This plain, ground means the plain ground of Medina. (Sahih Muslim Book 41 - 6886)
